Back in 2009, we launched a revolutionary order fulfilment service specifically for online retailers who were being ignored by the fulfilment industry.  It was revolutionary because no-one at that time could offer an affordable fulfilment service to the smaller online retailers without insisting on minimum order volumes and minimum fees.  The reason was due to the way they ran their pick and pack operation: they needed volume to obtain efficiencies.  But we came up with a better idea.....  

Our great idea was to build our own order processing system that allowed orders from any client to be picked at the same time.  This would mean start ups as well as more established online retailers could use our service and would not be penalised for the days when they did not generate any orders or seasonal fluctuations in their order flow.  Thankfully it worked!

In 2009, we opened our doors to our first customers and we haven't looked back.  The weird thing is, even now fulfilment companies still seem to operate the same old fashioned way (unlike Amazon of course who have led the way in automation and innovation) so we find ourselves still being the only UK fulfilment company offering a pay-as-you-go fulfilment service.  We've noticed a few fulfilment companies have started using our words and jargon but from what we know (and our clients tell us this) it seems when you study their prices all sorts of minimums and fixed costs start popping up!

We have never charged minimum fees, fixed fees and never will simply because we don't need to.  We get our pick and pack efficiency by using our own robust and stress-tested cloud based operating system so whether a client sends over 1 or 1000 they all go out the same day.

so how does it work?


Your products arrive

First you'll need to create an account with us which takes about 15 minutes. Then you upload your products onto our system (our myWarehouse Management System: we call it MMS) via a spreadsheet. Once you have placed your first order with your supplier, you log into MMS and inform us of what it is you have ordered and when we can expect them. We receive deliveries Mon-Fri 9-4. When your goods arrive you will be notified by email.


Your goods are processed

Within 2 days, we scan in EVERY item for a 100% check. Yes, that’s right…100% check. You'll know we've started working on your delivery because we email you to let you know. Once that's done we locate your products on shelves in our warehouse ready for your orders. Finally, we email you again to let you know exactly how many products have been received and that your goods are ready for orders.


Orders are generated

Your customers place orders on your website or marketplace and, if it is integrated with us, orders are automatically forwarded to us. Otherwise, you can log into MMS and copy/paste the orders into your account. We then merge your orders with other clients and produce batches ready for picking. Don't worry, we know what we're doing and due to us scanning every item in every order, we can't make a mistake.

Our staff then disappear into the aisles of the warehouse, picking items as they go. All 'consumer' orders received by 3.00pm are despatched the same day. Wholesale orders vary due to the number of items but are completed as soon as we can. We pick all the items onto our oversized trolleys and then wheel them into the packing area.

We then carefully pack your orders according to your instructions. Our staff decide on the best packaging suitable given the type of product or method of delivery. For example, loose T shirts can be sent in a mailbag whereas shoes/electronic items would require cardboard boxes. We can enclose free gifts & add inserts if you'd like. Parcels are despatched using the delivery method selected by your customer when placing the order or according to the rules you have provided to us.

And finally....your customers receive their orders quickly and accurately. Overseas import docs are automated by us to avoid any delays. You can receive realtime updates on parcel tracking info which you can share with you customers (if we are integrated with your shopping cart or marketplace). We can't guarantee a smile from the delivery driver but we do use top couriers like dpd, fedex, dhl alongside Royal Mail to ensure your customers get a great service.
